Crispy Shoestring Onions
1 large onion halved cut into 1/4' slices
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
1-1/2 c. flour
1 t. seasoning salt
1 t. pepper
1 t. garlic powder
Oil for frying
Heat 2" of oil to 350' use pot with sides.
Work w/ handful of onions at a time, dip in egg mixture and let excess drip off. Dredge in flour & lightly toss to coat. Place onions in hot oil and cook until golden brown. Remove and place on papertowl to absorb oil.
Yields: 4 cups shoestring onions
