Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

Homemade Chicken Pot Pie


Cook for 20 minutes on stove-top in pot with lid on:
3 chicken breast raw cut up
1 can chicken broth
2 celery ribs
1 whole small onion
1 chicken bouillon cube (1-2 cubes/1/2 tsp)

Cook all veggies in another pan-then use broth to make gravy
Carrots-start first
potatoes
frozen edamame (peas)

frozen corn
1 can chicken broth

Drain chicken, save broth. 2 Tbsp flour per cup of broth. 1 c. milk added to cooled broth.  Stir in flour 3 Tbsp, stirring constantly with a whisk.  Bring to boil on high heat. Add 2 Tbsp butter.  Pour all together, mix with broth, vegetables, 2 cups gravy, and chicken.  Top with bread crumbs. Cook for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Garlic bread crumbs on top of casserole
Baguette-diced up
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. canola oil
6 cloves of garlic-pressed
Microwave garlic, oil, and butter
Pour on bread crumbs
Add Parmesan cheese
Bake 300 degrees for 20minutes until bread is crisp
