Teriyaki Sauce
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c soy sauce
1/4 c. vinegar
1 clove garlic
1/2 t ginger
1/4 t. black pepper
1 T cornstarch
1 T cold water
Boil
Wisk together cornstarch and cold water.
Add whisked in cornstarch mixture and stir until thickened and clear.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Marinate 4-8 hours (chicken)
Save sauce to baste with
