Filling
4-(14.5 ozs) cans of peaches or 2-(29ozs cans) *do not drain*
1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 t. almond extract
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
4 Tbsp. butter
Batter
1 c. unsifted flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
4 Tbsp. softened butter
2 eggs
Combine with filling ingredients. Dot with 4 Tbsp butter
Combine with batter ingredients-beat until smooth
Drop 9-12 portions of batter over filling-separate evenly
Oven 375 degrees
Bake 35-40 minutes
